Description Why are CD's ideal for preserving the human voice?
Solution Compact discs have been available for more than 20 years. All computers made today have CD-ROM - that is, a CD "player" built in. Nearly every home and most cars have CD players. This is a technology that is convenient and inexpensive.

CD "burners" are inexpensive and are included in many computers (they also serve as a CD player).

Although CD's will likely be replaced someday with a newer technology, it will still be a simple matter to convert the digital information on our CD's to the next version of digital media.
